Guide of service
Worship services at Onoda Baptist church began in 1951. We continue to hold the worship service on Sunday mornings and prayer meeting on Wednesday afternoon. Let us come together to read the Bible, pray and share God's love and salvation.
Our church's theme in 2023 is " Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me."(The Old testament,Pslam51:12). We value living in a faith filled with Christ's love.

In 1951, Evangelism at Inari-machi in Onoda-City began with the power of prayer and cooperation between Rev. Howard, a missionary from the US Southern Baptist Convention, and the youth of Shimonoseki Baptist church. In 1961, 5 years later, Onoda Megumi (Grace) Kindergarten was built right next to the church to serve the neighborhood through infant education based on the Christian faith.
