Guide of service
Worship services at Onoda Baptist church began in 1951. We continue to hold the worship service on Sunday mornings and prayer meeting on Wednesday afternoon. Let us come together to read the Bible, pray and share God's love and salvation.
Our church's theme in 2025 is " And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."(The New testament,Ephesians 4:32). We value living in a faith filled with Christ's love.
Onoda Baptist church has a warm, family atmosphere. We look forward to seeing you.
In 1951, Evangelism at Inari-machi in Onoda-City began with the power of prayer and cooperation between Rev. Howard, a missionary from the US Southern Baptist Convention, and the youth of Shimonoseki Baptist church. In 1961, 5 years later, Onoda Megumi (Grace) Kindergarten was built right next to the church to serve the neighborhood through infant education based on the Christian faith.

- 小野田バプテスト教会の牧師として佐野太師が招聘されました。小野田めぐみ幼稚園の園長と兼務します。

- ハワード宣教師と下関教会青年会により小野田に福音宣教が始められました。
